Correspondence Reveal Jeffrey Epstein and former Trump strategist Connection

In November 2018, Steve Bannon, formerly Donald Trump's chief strategist, was in the UK preparing for a speech at the Oxford Union.

The speech was disrupted by hundreds of demonstrators, and Bannon, who was due to travel that evening, told Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Protesters delayed my talk don't think I can catch the plane we are heading to heathrow".

Epstein responded: "There. Is a gulf air departing at 950 with a stop in Bahrain". Bannon answered: "You are an amazing helper".

These messages were released on this week alongside over 20,000 documents from the estate of Epstein, the late financier convicted of sex crimes.

The disclosure by the House oversight committee contains an iMessage chat where Bannon's identity is withheld. Media outlets managed to confirm his involvement by cross-referencing the dates, occurrences, and locations mentioned.

For example, Epstein talks about chartering a jet from Scotland for the redacted user in the chat, and offers praise their "Oxford speech". Bannon took part in the News Xchange conference on November 14, and delivered the talk at the Oxford Union on November 16.

Bannon, who is not accused of any wrongdoing, declined to comment on the request for comment.

Epstein's Assurance to Bannon

Bannon was one of Trump's key aides in the lead-up to the presidential election and during the initial phase of his first administration, but resigned from the administration in 2017.

He has admitted he was making a documentary about Epstein before his passing and allegedly has approximately 15 hours of footage. In a recording of his show recently, he said: "We're going to release the series, the multi-part documentary, in the coming year - early next year."

But the newly released documents indicate Bannon's relationship with Epstein extended than documenting his life, with the disgraced financier at times appearing to serve like a aide.

A short time prior to the conversation in which Epstein appeared to have booked a charter jet for Bannon, Epstein remarked: "how does it feel to have the highest-paid travel agent in the world ".

Bannon thanked him: "U r quite capable asst", to which Epstein replied "Therapies. Not Included".

Discussing a trip to "Abu Dhabi" in another message, Epstein told Bannon: "I will ensure you are taken care of."

UK Politics Mentioned in Exchanges

The released messages also reveal Bannon and Epstein discussing British political matters in that year.

Earlier on the day of his speech at the Oxford Union, Bannon messaged Epstein: "I became involved in the EU exit thing this day with Nigel, Boris and Mogg."

Then, in what seems like a allusion to the UK prime minister, the embattled British leader at the time, he added: "They are attempting to move on. May today / tomorrow…"

Epstein advised Bannon: "In my view staying as much as you can in the UK. Best-- so others see the commitment of your follow-up."

Soon after, Epstein inquired: "Will Theresa may survive". Bannon replied: "I don't see how however the guys over here have little courage" and noted "Boris ; Michael Gove; Rees Mogg; David Davis - someone has to take charge".

May was finally removed in May 2019 after withstanding two votes of no confidence in December 2018.

A representative for the political party informed media: "Farage has not been in a meeting with Steve Bannon, Jacob Rees Mogg and Boris Johnson." And there is nothing to suggest that encounter took place.

The US House of Representatives will decide soon on whether the Department of Justice should make public all its records concerning its probe into Epstein, who passed away in prison in 2019.

Attention in Epstein's associations with influential individuals was renewed recently after the release of more than 20,000 documents from his estate.

A portion of those referenced Trump, who has consistently denied any wrongdoing. The leader was a friend of Epstein's for a long time, but says they fell out in the 2000s, two years before Epstein was initially charged.
