In a surprising collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "A strange meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of banned practices and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden sect.

The questline centers on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside several items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Newest Free Story Update

This patch also brings the game's latest free story addition, titled "A Puzzlement."
